After relaxing with daughter Violet the previous day, it was time for Jennifer Garner’s (pictured above at the 24th American Cinematheque Awards on March 27th) 38th birthday party on the 17th April and celebs came out in force.

Looks like Jen’s daughters Violet and Seraphina have some good playmates to keep them happy during the party.

A day before her 38th birthday, Jennifer Garner (literally) picked up her daughter Violet from school in Santa Monica, California and the pair treated themselves to pedicures (April 16th).

It’s nice to see the whole family out on Easter Saturday as Jennifer Garner (37), Ben Affleck (37) and their two daughters Violet (4) and Seraphina (1) were out in Santa Monica for the day.

Garner is to start filming Butter later this month. The movie is about butter carving. Interesting.

The mother of two recently told Parade magazine thatshe can’t abide “women criticizing other women and mothers criticizing other mothers. It just makes me crazy, whether it’s between staying at home, going to work, how long you breast-feed, if you use formula. I feel like we should just assume everyone is doing the best they can. Women should take care of each other, not tear each other down.”
